The greatest determinant of transcription accuracy is how audio was recorded.
- Use lapel or directional microphones.
- Speakers should not talk over each other.
- Minimize background noise.
- Inaudible recording are problematic, including if the recording volume is too low or there’s microphone interference.
Clear, high quality recordings are key to accurate transcriptions.
